Mark Hennings
Quartermaster - Air Force

Mark served in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 2000, dedicating nearly a decade to national defense and global stability. In 1992, he deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch and the Southwest Asia Cease-Fire Campaigns.

From 1998 to 1999, Mark was stationed at Camp Red Cloud with the 2nd Infantry Division in the Republic of South Korea—an area recognized as the real‑world setting that inspired the iconic TV series MASH* (4077th).

Mark joined VFW Post 6377 in March 2025 and was elected Quartermaster in June 2026, a position he proudly continues to hold. His leadership focuses on strengthening the Post’s relationship with the Sussex community and fostering growth for both veterans and local residents.

A Wisconsin resident since 2017, Mark lives in Sussex, WI, with his son Dawson. Prior to settling in Wisconsin, he lived in Las Vegas following his military service.

Mark remains committed to service—past, present, and future—and is always ready to support his fellow veterans and community.
